This space is all about creating connection. Connection to Domus Habitat, connection to the landscape around.

The Space

We carefully observed the opportunists of our Mediterranean surroundings and respectfully seized them to develop a unique blend of spaces and services that couldn’t exist anywhere else in the world. Built right next to the sea, where an olive tree orchard used to grow, we designed the Habitat as an intricate play between exclusive interior spaces and a pristine natural place.

Through the use of gradient surfaces, nuanced palette and stacked glasses, the rooms evokes slowness and connection to the subconscious mind. The idea is to use gradient materials and transparent objects that “reflect” the way the fog gradually clears up. A sense for timelessness is what is sought here.

The “Pantry of Plenty” is envisioned as a hybrid pantry-market within the space, offering guests 24/7 self-serve access to fresh and dry local produce, snacks, and regional specialties. This amenity replaces a traditional hotel store with an immersive food experience that communicates generosity, abundance, and a strong sense of place.

The MiraZon provides an atmosphere of calmness, wonder and infinite possibility. It is inspired by the distant horizon, where time slows and the senses awaken. The color palette evokes the transformation of reality into a mirage.
